Spiral Wound Gasket

The spiral wound gasket is made of high quality alloy-steel strip and stainless materials. It's made up of winding material body and inner/outer ring which often use asbestos, graphite and PTFE to be the filler materials.

Spiral wound gasket is widely applied in petrolum, chemical industry, machinery, metallurgy, electric power, shipbuilding. It's a static sealing parts used for such flange connecting, joints as pipe line, valve, pump, pressure vessels, condesator, tower, manhole, handhole, etc. It has a high strength, so it's more easy to use it. It also has a good compression elasticity and it's suitable for the sealing parts with temperature and pressure altering violently.

Spiral wound gasket is divided into: With both outside and inside ring, inner ring, outer ring and basic form.
Spiral wound gasket with graphite filler: Temperature -200-850; Pressure 0-20 Mpa.
Spiral wound gasket with asbestos filler: Temperature -200-850; Pressure 0-25 Mpa.
Spiral wound gasket with PTFE filler: Temperatur -200-260; Pressure 0-10 Mpa.
